We keep your data on a short leash

The experience you have with your dog is deeply personal — and it stays that way. We have never, and will never, share, sell, or distribute the minimal data we collect.

We only collect what's necessary

dogAdvisor will only collect the data we need in order to run our technology safely. We collect necessary information like your approximate location and device type when you use Max, and we're notified when you resume a conversation. If you use Article Intents, we can see the article you're reading. We collect this data for safety purposes. This way, we can understand who is acting irresponsibly on dogAdvisor, and take action.

We never transmit any data. Anywhere.

All of Max's data is held in his interface. We never share any conversations or personal information with anyone - even our own teams. We hold limited information about you. Services like Hotjar may record your activity on dogAdvisor, which we can use in forensic investigations with Max to determine how you're using dogAdvisor. This data is never shared.

You have control.

I you aren't comfortable with us collecting limited information about your Max interactions, you can still experience dogAdvisor's articles and website without ever interacting with Max!
