Hello! Welcome to dogAdvisor Max. Before using Max it's important you understand what he can and can't help with and how to use him safely. By using Max you submit that you have read and agreed to this Safety Harbour, and we encourage you to read it closely as it informs significant aspects of your relationship with Max.

Human Summary

Before you begin using Max and the broader dogAdvisor ecosystem, you must carefully read and understand this Safe Harbour Agreement. This human summary is designed to explain in plain language exactly what Max is, what he is not, and how his features work based on the information you share. Max is an incredibly advanced artificial intelligence companion built to support you in your journey of pet ownership. He is designed to act as an educational resource, a data aggregator, and a conversational guide. Max is not, however, a licensed veterinarian, a certified animal behaviourist, or a substitute for professional, real-world veterinary care. By using the Medical Passport and sharing information with Max, you allow him to connect persistent data (such as your dog's age, breed, weight, and known allergies) with dynamic health telemetry like resting heart rate and respiratory averages. This allows Max to provide highly contextual, personalised insights rather than generic advice. Your data throughout this process is kept completely confidential and is protected by dogAdvisor's Private Safety Checks, which prevent engineers from accessing any of your health or personal information. In the interests of Max's safety and security, health data is air-gapped this tab from direct interaction with Max, so whilst he's able to view the health data you've recorded and request you add additional measurements he can't edit Health data directly to ensure no risk of unacceptable hallucination. As a result, you must verify the accuracy of your dogs Medical Passport to ensure the Health analysis (such as irregular heart, respiratory, energy, or hearing range notifications) is accurate. Max Health will automatically let you know if your Medical Passport is out of date longer than a certain period, and can ask you to resubmit it at any time. In compliance with our Privacy and Security policies, your health data is completely private and exempt from data storage or access by dogAdvisor unless used conversationally, where the law mandates we review conversations for trust and safety, and may be forced to de anonymise information when content such as CSAM or terrorism is shared, so we can act on our legal duty to inform the National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police. However, you must always remember that you are the ultimate guardian of your dog. If Max flags an irregular heart rate or suggests monitoring a symptom, that is an educational prompt, not a medical diagnosis. If your dog is in distress, bleeding, unresponsive, or facing any emergency, you must immediately contact an emergency veterinary clinic. You should never wait for an AI to give you permission to seek real-world help. We believe Max is most helpful in between vet visits and as a tool to support discussions with your qualified healthcare professional, so we've built in additional features and guardrails to make this distinction clear when you're using dogAdvisor Max.

At the core of this agreement lies a fundamental philosophical and practical truth: dogAdvisor Max is a profound technological tool, but he remains exclusively a tool. We have invested extraordinary resources into designing the safest artificial intelligence ecosystem possible, engineering features like the Foundation Safety Framework, Guided Retriever Intelligence, and persistent dual-memory to ensure Max operates with unprecedented contextual awareness. However, no amount of sophisticated code, complex algorithms, or advanced data telemetry can bridge the gap between the digital interface and the physical reality of your dog. Max operates entirely within a digital vacuum, reliant solely on the numbers and descriptions you provide. He cannot see the subtle tension in your dog's posture, he cannot feel the heat of a fever, he cannot assess the unpredictable variables of a busy park, and he cannot physically intervene when danger arises. Because artificial intelligence is fundamentally incapable of perceiving or acting within the physical world, it is fundamentally incapable of bearing moral or legal responsibility for physical outcomes. The limitations of liability and medical disclaimers you are about to read are not merely corporate legal technicalities; they are a necessary and absolute reflection of reality. Responsibility must inherently reside with the entity capable of taking physical action, and in the dynamic of pet ownership, that entity is exclusively you. You are the ultimate guardian, the physical observer, and the final decision-maker. By providing you with Max, we are handing you a highly advanced navigational compass, but you are the one steering the ship. If we were to assume liability for the actions you take, the training exercises you attempt, or the veterinary care you delay based on an AI's output, we would be claiming a physical presence and authority in your dog's life that we simply do not possess. Therefore, when you agree to these terms, you are actively acknowledging a universal truth of this technology: while Max is here to aggregate data, inform, and support you, the ultimate burden of human judgement, the requirement for professional verification, and the absolute, irreversible responsibility for your dog's welfare rests entirely in your hands.

By accessing, browsing, or using dogAdvisor Max, including all conversational interfaces, the Medical Passport, the Health Dashboard, and any associated telemetry or tracking tools, you unconditionally agree to be legally bound by this Safe Harbour Agreement. This document governs your entire relationship with dogAdvisor Max across all features and capabilities. If you do not agree to every single provision detailed in this document, you must immediately cease all use of Max and the dogAdvisor platform. Max is provided by dendidSTUDIO Limited as a supplementary, educational tool for dog owners. The intelligence and navigation capabilities of Max, powered by our Guided Retriever Intelligence architecture, are designed to assist you in understanding general dog care, behavioural training concepts, and general health metrics. None of the interactions you have with Max create a veterinary-client-patient relationship. All outputs generated by Max, whether conversational advice, health alerts, behavioural guidance, or medical intelligence summaries, are provided strictly for informational and educational purposes. You accept full and absolute responsibility for how you interpret and apply any information provided by Max to your real-world pet care decisions.

The sophisticated nature of Max relies heavily on the data you choose to provide and maintain within the ecosystem. Max utilises a dual-memory architecture that combines persistent profile data stored in your Medical Passport with dynamic, on-demand data pulls during your conversations. This means Max actively remembers the baseline metrics, chronic conditions, and medication schedules you input, and cross-references this permanent memory against any new symptoms or behavioural questions you raise in the chat. Because Max operates entirely on the premise of the information you supply, you bear the absolute obligation to ensure that every piece of data you input is entirely truthful, accurate, complete, and up-to-date. If you fail to log a newly discovered allergy, if you input inaccurate weight measurements, if you exaggerate a symptom out of panic, or if you minimise a concerning behaviour, Max will process that flawed data and consequently provide flawed, potentially unsafe guidance. We explicitly disclaim any and all liability for negative outcomes, harm, or distress that arise because you provided Max with inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information. The safety of the entire ecosystem relies on your diligence in maintaining a truthful profile and Medical Passport.

While Max is equipped with advanced features like Medical Intelligence and Emergency Guidance triage protocols, you must profoundly understand the limitations of artificial intelligence in a medical context. Max cannot physically examine your dog, he cannot perform diagnostic imaging, he cannot draw blood, and he cannot account for the infinite biological variables that make your specific dog unique. When Max alerts you to an irregular health reading, such as a spike in resting heart rate or a change in respiratory patterns, he is simply comparing your provided telemetry against statistical baseline averages. This is not a diagnosis of heart disease, respiratory distress, or any other medical condition. Furthermore, while Max might provide educational explanations regarding specific medications, dosages, or treatment protocols to help you better understand a veterinarian's instructions, you must never administer, alter, or discontinue any medication or medical treatment based solely on Max's output. Any and all medical interventions must be explicitly authorised by a licensed veterinary surgeon who has physically evaluated your pet. AI systems, no matter how advanced, can hallucinate, misinterpret context, or fail to recognise the severity of a situation. You must never use Max as an emergency diagnostic tool, and you must never allow a conversation with Max to delay critical veterinary care. The health tracking features integrated with Max, including the presentation of vital signs and historical trends on the Health Dashboard, are purely reflective tools. dogAdvisor does not manufacture veterinary medical devices, and the accuracy of any telemetry data displayed by Max is entirely dependent on the quality of the third-party devices or manual measurement methods you use to capture that data. You must acknowledge that the user interface may occasionally present false positives, alerting you to an irregularity that is simply the result of a hardware glitch, user measurement error, or a benign situational factor such as your dog being temporarily excited by a visitor. Conversely, you must understand the profound risk of false negatives, where the dashboard may display entirely healthy, normal metrics while your dog is actually harbouring an underlying, unseen medical issue. Max analyses the numbers he is given, but those numbers are not a holistic representation of your dog's physiological state. You must continuously observe your dog's physical behaviour, demeanour, and physical symptoms, prioritising your own human observation and intuition over any digital dashboard reading. Some information you submit relies on your personal interpretation including your dog's appetite and energy levels, where you bear responsibility for the accuracy of the information you submit to Max.

In addition to health and medical telemetry, dogAdvisor Max provides educational frameworks, progress tracking, and suggested exercises for canine training and fitness. You expressly acknowledge that Max is an artificial intelligence companion providing generalised behavioural concepts, not a certified professional dog trainer, animal behaviourist, or physical rehabilitation specialist. Every dog learns at a different pace and possesses unique behavioural triggers, trauma histories, and physical limitations that an artificial intelligence cannot observe or account for. The training modules, exercise recommendations, and fitness tracking provided by Max are strictly educational and must be applied entirely at your own discretion. When undertaking any training exercise or fitness routine suggested by Max, you bear the absolute and sole responsibility for ensuring the physical safety of your dog, yourself, and the surrounding public. Before initiating any activity, you must thoroughly evaluate your immediate environment for hazards, secure the area, and verify that the space is appropriate for the specific exercise. You must comply with all local leash laws, public space regulations, and safety ordinances at all times. Max cannot see your environment, assess incoming distractions, or warn you of localised dangers such as traffic, aggressive off-leash dogs, or unsafe terrain. You are required to maintain continuous situational awareness and exercise sound human judgement, immediately halting any training activity if the environment becomes unsafe or if your dog exhibits signs of distress, fatigue, or physical discomfort. Canine behaviour can be unpredictable, and modifying behaviour inherently carries the risk of unintended consequences, including heightened anxiety, fear responses, or sudden aggression. You explicitly agree never to rely on Max to diagnose or rehabilitate severe behavioural issues, including but not limited to resource guarding, human-directed aggression, dog-to-dog reactivity, or severe separation anxiety. If your dog has a history of biting, displays aggressive tendencies, or poses a potential threat to humans or other animals, you must seek the immediate, in-person intervention of a qualified, certified behavioural professional. dogAdvisor Max is entirely unequipped to manage dangerous canine behaviour, and attempting to resolve severe aggression using AI-generated advice places you, your dog, and your community at profound risk. By utilising the training and fitness features within dogAdvisor Max, you unconditionally assume all inherent risks associated with handling and training an animal. To the absolute maximum extent permitted by law, dendidSTUDIO Limited, its founders, and its affiliates expressly disclaim any and all liability for injuries, property damage, or legal consequences resulting from your dog's behaviour. We cannot and will not be held liable if your dog bites a person, attacks another animal, destroys property, escapes confinement, causes a traffic incident, or suffers a physical injury while you are attempting to execute a training exercise or fitness routine suggested by Max. Your dog's actions remain your exclusive legal and financial responsibility at all times, and your continued use of these features constitutes a complete waiver of your right to litigate against dogAdvisor for any behavioural, fitness, or training-related outcomes.

By utilising dogAdvisor Max, you expressly assume all inherent risks associated with using an artificial intelligence system for pet care advice, behavioural guidance, and health tracking. You acknowledge that AI technology is probabilistic, subject to rapid technological evolution, and inherently capable of generating errors or misinterpreting complex biological or behavioural scenarios. To the absolute maximum extent permitted by applicable law, dendidSTUDIO Limited, its founders, employees, affiliates, and partners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or directly related to your use of Max. This limitation of liability comprehensively covers, but is not limited to, veterinary expenses, loss of property, emotional distress, physical injury to an animal, or the death of an animal resulting from your reliance on AI-generated content, your misinterpretation of health telemetry, or your failure to seek timely, real-world professional care. You agree to indemnify and hold dogAdvisor harmless against any claims, losses, or damages that result from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the platform. You remain the sole, ultimate authority and guardian over your pet's life, and your continued use of Max signifies your complete, unconditional acceptance of these binding legal conditions.
