Good Morning,
We are introducing Maps to dogAdvisor Max starting with Series 5 to empower Max to better support dog owners as they discover the top dog spots for them. Maps arrives to Series 5 for discussions around top city destinations or dog spots to visit as part of dogAdvisor City Guides (an exclusive list of the top hidden gems for dogs in each major world city).
Now, when you ask for a recommendation of the top dog spots in your city Max can provide his recommendations from City Guides and give you a copy of an interactive map right below his answers so you can better explore his top spots! Max Maps is part of an expanding field of capabilities for dogAdvisor Max Series 5 making him more helpful for dog owners. We are introducing Max Maps in several major cities including London (further localised for Battersea, Mayfair, Canary Wharf, Kensington, Wimbledon and Westminster), Manchester, Paris, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Sydney, Vienna, Toronto, Montreal, Madrid, Prague and Perth. Max Maps is not available for regions and areas outside of these cities. As we continue to improve Max we expect to continue to add support for more cities around the world. Importantly, Maps is only available for locations mentioned above and may not be available for cities where localisation is not supported - for example Max may not be able to display maps or recommend specific spots within Paris that follow a specific set of criteria if such a location can't be found in dogAdvisor's City Guides. We expect to continue to add more localised support in Max's knowledge in future Series of Max Series 5.

When you share a chat with Max Maps enabled your recipient will see a static version of Max's map for safety and accessibility purposes, so they won't be able to interact with Max Maps directly. It's important to note that Max Maps are only deployed when Max sees it contextually appropriate so he might not display a map when you might feel that's helpful - to make Max more responsive to your requests just let him know you'd like to see a map with your answer! For safety purposes Max will only display locations on Max Maps that he himself has selected, so you won't be able to ask him to display a specific location on Maps unless he's already done so, in order to limit and reduce the risk of jailbreaking to Max. During your conversation in BETA you may be asked by Max to provide feedback on your maps experience - your feedback is directly reviewed by a human here at dogAdvisor and is never associated with you, so we recommend taking a moment of your time to share what we can do to improve your experience completely anonymously!
Max Maps will rollout to a limited number of dog owners in BETA starting today and will be available to all dog owners outside of BETA later this month. We look forward to seeing how you use Max Maps and how they help you along your dog ownership journey.
